HIP Requirements: Persons hunting migratory game birds must carry proof of Arkansas registration at all times while hunting. Click here for more information about HIP.
Gun Plug Requirements: Shotguns must be incapable of holding more than three shells in the magazine and chamber combined.
To report bird bands, call toll free 1-800-327-BAND (2263). The operator will ask for the band number and how, when and where it was recovered. You will receive a Certificate of Appreciation with information about the bird. The band is yours to keep. You can also report bird bands using the Internet.
